I have to admit that bleu is not a favorit of mine, but I have observed that people who like it are often very passionate about it. Velbekomme (may it do you good) as we say here.

What a wonderful phrase, Velbekomme. I'll have to remember that, and thank you.

I didn't like bleu cheese until I discovered a tiny Basque restaurant where they served hot, crusty rolls with room temperature bleu cheese before their meals. I was reluctant to try it, but when I did, it was delicious. I've enjoyed it ever since.

I think you're quite right about cheese, though. People have very strong preferences.
