WizzyLove, these are absolutely beautiful. Autumn is my favorite time of year, and these will get me off to a good start. I usually put out my autumn decorations Oct. 1, but I think you've inspired me to get a head start.
#'s 1, 8, 10 and 14 have caught my eye, although they are all little works of art.
Goddess I miss those colors...here the leaves seen to go brown then fall off. In NY we had the most wonderful falls...*sighs* am taking several and will credit with use...
Thank you! I got them through the usual channels, corbis, googling, that sort of thing... but I have been saving up the prettiest I could fins for a while :)
*happy sigh* Oh, you do know how to make a girl happy, wizzy. I know I say this all the time, but these really are perfect. I've been wondering how you'd make these different from last year's leaves, and these seem duller in color - in the best way to use that word. Not as bright, but somehow richer, if that makes any sense. Like those were crisp silk and these are plump velvet - both sensuous things in their own right.
Have managed to watch Price of Milk - loved it, just as you said! How cute was he?!
I haven't thought of it that way, but I see what you mean- The truth of the matter, though, is that these are what the others should have been, had I known how to do it back then! *grins*
As for POM; how cute indeed! My fav moment I think is when he loses his vioce! :D
I'm glad you like them :) The yellow one there, is several layers of almost transperent leaves on top of each other. That's why the colour varies. It might seem blurry, I never thought of that. But I find the texture interesting, that's why I put it in :)
I've taken the one with the single leaf alone on the table. It is very striking there all by itself. I love them all, of course -- fall is my favorite time of year! But I know where to find them if I feel the need for more. ;-)
I suppose I really ought to confess that the single leaf reminds me of a mallorn leaf... There's that Boromir connection. ;-)

Date: 2005-09-12 05:22 pm (UTC)leaves are great, but I like them the best when they are still attached to the trees and making soft sounds in the breeze-

Date: 2005-09-11 11:11 pm (UTC)I really like the first one. I have a thing for anything with water droplets on it. It always looks more beautiful that way.
I also like the second one in the bottom row. That's a beautiful colour.
I don't get the second last one. Is that a leaf close up? Or just a blurry picture of one?
